Terms of service

Morning Dew (morningdew.zidi.digital) is a property marketplace for Kenya: homes to rent, homes for sale and short stays. It is operated by ZIDI CREATIVES, a business name registered in Kenya (registration BN-93S96WWR). By using Morning Dew you agree to these terms.

What Morning Dew does

We connect people looking for a home ("seekers") with landlords, agents, developers and hosts ("listers"). For rentals and sales we pass enquiries between seekers and listers; any tenancy or sale agreement is between them, not with us. For short stays you book and pay through Morning Dew, and the stay itself is provided by the host.

Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. No password.
• You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, and keep access to your email safe.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Listing a property

• You must have the right to list the property, and the listing (price, location, photos, description) must be accurate and current.
• Use only photos you took or have permission to use. We remove location data from photos before showing them.
• Every listing is reviewed before it is published. We may decline, edit for clarity, or remove listings that break these terms, look misleading or attract complaints.
• When a seeker enquires, you receive their name and phone number. Use them only to respond to that enquiry.

Enquiries and viewings

When you ask to see a lister's contact or request a viewing, your name and phone number (and email, if you give it) are shared with that lister. Never pay a deposit or rent before you have viewed a property and confirmed who you are dealing with. Report anything suspicious to info@zidi.digital.

Short stays

• Prices are calculated by Morning Dew for the dates you choose and shown before you pay.
• Starting a booking holds the dates for 15 minutes. The booking is confirmed only once your payment has been verified with our payment provider.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.

Featured listings

Listers can pay to feature a published listing for the period of the plan bought (for example 7 or 30 days). Featuring places a listing higher in results; it does not guarantee enquiries or bookings.

Payments

Payments are in Kenya shillings by M-Pesa or card and are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card or M-Pesa PIN details.

Not allowed

• Fake, duplicate or misleading listings; listing property you have no right to list.
• Scams, harassment, discrimination, or asking for payment outside an agreed process.
• Scraping, automated access or attempts to get around our security checks.

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

Our responsibility

We review listings and work to keep Morning Dew safe, but we do not own or inspect the properties and cannot guarantee what listers say about them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from dealings between seekers and listers. Nothing here limits rights you have under Kenyan consumer law.
